How the draw works
The tool builds the whole pool of numbers from 1 up to your maximum, shuffles it, takes the first few and sorts them. Because numbers are removed as they are drawn — sampling without replacement — no number can appear twice, exactly like balls coming out of a real lottery machine. The badge shows how many distinct combinations exist: choosing 6 from 49 gives 13,983,816.
For a closely related job, the bingo number generator does it in one click.
How to use it
Set How many numbers and the highest number in the pool to match your game — 6 from 49, 5 from 70, 6 from 59, and so on — then press Generate. Press repeatedly to produce several lines. Random picks have exactly the same odds as any 'lucky' set, but they are less likely to be shared with other players, so a jackpot would be split fewer ways. For a single number use the random number generator.
The spinning wheel picker is the obvious companion when this one is not quite the right shape.
Randomness and security
Every result on this page is produced in your own browser with JavaScript's built-in Math.random() pseudo-random generator. That is perfectly fine for games, giveaways, classroom picks and decision-making, but it is not cryptographically secure — never use it to generate keys, tokens or anything protecting real money or private data. Nothing you type is uploaded; the page never sends your inputs anywhere.
Groups often move straight on to the dice roller afterwards.
Frequently asked questions
- Can a number repeat in one line?
- No. Numbers are drawn without replacement, so every number in a line is unique and the list is sorted low to high.
- Which lottery format can I use?
- Any pick-n-from-m game. Set how many numbers you need and the highest number in the pool, up to 1000.
- Do random numbers improve my odds?
- No. Every combination is equally likely — random picks just avoid popular patterns, so a win is less likely to be shared.
- Is this an official draw?
- No. It is an entertainment tool using the browser's Math.random() and has no connection to any lottery operator.
- Are my numbers stored anywhere?
- No. Each line is generated in your browser and is never transmitted, logged or saved on a server. Closing the tab is enough to clear it.
